I keep on seeing celebrations and jubilation every time I open Facebook: the “monster” Donald Trump is defeated (maybe?) and Joe Biden will be the next president of the USA (maybe? and if yes for how long?).
I understand the joy; I’ve always disliked Trump for he represents everything I despise in a man. But these celebrations seem frankly excessive to me.
We should keep in mind who Joe Biden is and what his track record shows. So as not to be overwhelmed by our enthusiasm and forget that it is the duty of every citizen who believes in social justice, equality, love, compassion and creating a better and fairer world to keep the people in power in check. It is our duty to give Mr. Biden the same level of scrutiny and political pressure we gave Trump.
Joe Biden, we must always keep this in mind, was the vice president of the ‘Nobel Peace Prize’ Barack Obama. Another president celebrated as a hope for change in the USA. We all know how it went. The ‘Nobel Peace Prize’ (and his second in command), during his presidency dropped bombs on Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq and Syria. He green lit the “drone wars”, the “kill lists” and kept Guantanamo up and running (despite promising to do the opposite). He has imposed criminal sanctions against Venezuela, defined as an “unusual and extraordinary threat to national security”, armed the coup leaders in Caracas as well as in Managua in a failed attempt to overthrow the Sandinista government led by Commander Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua. Supported the lawfare operations in Latin America that led to the parliamentary coup against socialist president Dilma Rousseff in Brazil and the political killing of former Argentine president Cristina Kirchner (a center-left social democrat).
The Biden family has unclear links and deals with neo-Nazis in Ukraine. Hunter Biden – Joe’s son – joined the board of directors of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company, in May 2014, with a salary of $ 50,000 a month. Biden’s son was chosen despite not speaking the language and having no particular experience in the energy field. That is the duty of every sincere humanist and faithful believer in democracy with the knowledge that the world can and must be a paradise for all.
So tone down the celebrations, and get ready to fight again because if Biden does step into the White house he will not not magically become a shining white knight. An indication of this is the fact that his campaign was largely financed, amongst others, by multiple Wall Street’s hedge funds and 44 billionaires (according to Forbes). According to bloomberg.com he raised almost 1 billion dollars (an all time record amount). These donors will put pressure on his presidency and no, they don’t have the people’s best interests at heart.
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay vigilant and don’t think that all that a healthy democracy requires is 15 minutes in a voting booth every four years and couple of celebratory memes on Facebook. It is a continuous struggle for knowledge and information and action against the powers that direct our political and social life, no matter who they are.
This said, and I’m pretty sure this is wishful thinking (but you never know), if old Joe should choose the UN Charter path instead of the old and already trodden path of bombs, sanctions and international crimes, I am ready to make amends and to become his first supporter. My wish is to be able to tell with amazement about the discontinuity policies applied by the Biden’s administration. It seems (to me) very difficult this can happen given the premises. But I don’t want to put limits on providence.

در راس مبارزین آزادیخواه یک جامعه عمل کرده است و کسانی که به ملت و اخلاق و رفاه و آب و
خاک و نسل آینده و تمامیت ارضی ایران دل میسوزانند باید از تهیه کنندگان این فیلم حمایت کنند .
سعید پورصمیمی از بازیگران پیشکسوت
ایرانی و متولد ۹ اسفند ۱۳۲۲ است.
او از سال ۱۳۴۰ تاکنون در حرفه بازیگری حضور داشته و با داشتن بیش از نیم قرن سابقه از بهترین بازیگران کشورمان
محسوب میشود و تاکنون سه بار برنده سیمرغ شده.
علیرغم سن تقریبا کم خود سعید روستایی توانسته آثار ارزشمندی
را از خود به جای بگذارد.
فیلم برادران لیلی از آن فیلم هایی است که
برای دوباره و چندباره دیدنش دنبال بهانه می گردی.
یک فیلم خوش ساخت که فراستی ها هم برای نقدش جانب
انصاف را رعایت کرده اند.
پس وقتی فیلم هاش رو بررسی می کنیم اشتباهه بگیم داره تصویر بد
از ملت ایران می سازه. در حالی
که در خانه اسماعیل جشن میگیرند، پرویز از آشپزخانه پدرش غذا میدزدد تا خانوادهاش را سیر کند.
تناقض به وجود آمده در فیلم به عنوان موضعگیری اصلی فیلمساز برای ایجاد تعلیق در اثر خود است.
فیلمساز میداند که زنِ آنیموس در جامعه امروز کشورمان یک ایثارگر آیندهنگر است
که نیاز هر خانواده این چنینی برای بقاء است.
فیلمساز میداند که برای نشان دادن الوهیت آن
نیازی به ترحم برانگیزی از جنس “سمیه” ندارد اما همچنان
برای ایجاد تعلیق ایرانی – سینمایی خود به چنین کاراکتری نزدیک میشود.
روستایی نمادی از سینمای آینده است که
بیشترین انتقادش از جامعه، جامع بودن همه شرایط خطر آفرین برای جوانان
است. نتیجه این که آنچه در برادران لیلا میبینیم، نه سینما و نه ناسینما است.
فرهاد اصلانی از جمله بازیگرانی است که هم در سینما و هم
در تلویزیون حضور داشته است. بازی فرهاد اصلانی در سریالهایی چون وفا و مختارنامه هرگز فراموش نخواهد شد.
بین صحنههایی از آپارتمانهای قدیمی و کثیف خانواده و
زندگیهای اشرافی دیگران متغیر است.
در آن جا هماتاقیاش به خواهر و برادرانش توضیح میدهد
که چگونه میتوانند با نوعی کلاهبرداری پولدار شوند.
در واقع این فیلم ، سیاه نمایی نیست.، واقعیت امروز جامعه ایرانی است ، بی پرده بگویم اگر شما در چنین شرایطی زندگی نمی کنید فرد خوشبختی هستید و باید خوشحال باشید .
در همین روزها من شاهد بسیاری از صحنه های فیلم در واقعیت و زندگی روزمره هستم ، در بین افراد فامیل یا آشنایان .
شاید بتوان گفت کسانی که این فیلم را دور از جامعه ایران میدانند در واقع خودشان
از متن جامعه و مشکلات مردم فاصله دارند .
وقتی نفر چهارم، علیرضا (نوید محمدزاده) کارش
را در کارخانه از دست میدهد،
لیلا متوجه می شود که موقع تغییر است.
نقد فیلم برادران لیلابه اثری میپردازد که با یک بوسه جنجالی شد و با یک
تهمت تجاوز تیترِ یک و شاید کیفیت اثر تحتِ تاثیر این مسائل قرار گرفت.
ما اما در این نقد به دور از این خالهزنکبازیها به خودِ اثر خواهیم پرداخت.
این فیلم درامی درباره فروپاشی غمانگیز خانوادهای است که برای ثروتمند شدن در
کشور ایران، با وجود تحریمهای
اقتصادی بینالمللی مدام در تلاش است.
خانواده لیلا با بازی ترانه علیدوستی زیر بار بدهی له میشوند.
با اینکه آنها بهشدت تحتتأثیر تورم ویرانکننده کشور قرار گرفتهاند اما برادران او جاهطلبیهای خود را در اولویت قرار میدهند که به قیمت رفاه خانواده تمام میشود .
همیشه قبل از بحران نهایی و یا رسیدن به یک
اوج دراماتیک متوقف میشوند.
رنج و عذاب این خانواده جوری درهم تنیده شده که به هیچ عنوان نمیتوانند
آغاز یا پایانی برای آن درنظر بگیرند.
به نظر من این فیلم یکی از بهترین فیلم هایی بود که توی جشنواره های مختلف رفته .
فیلم سینمایی برادران لیلا واقعیت های زندگی اروپا و آمریکا را با بازیگر ایرانی به تصویر کشید و هدفی جز تخریب فرهنگ و
اخلاق با ابزار سیاست ندارد. امسال همراه با این فیلم ایرانی برادران لیلا ساخته
